FS2004 Hibernia Offshore.
Hibernia offshore oil platform is located in the Jeanne d'Arc Basin, 170nm, 315km east of St John's, Newfoundland, Canada in water 80m deep. The completed platform was towed to the Hibernia oil field and positioned on the ocean floor in June of 1997 and began producing oil on November 17, 1997. The platform stands 224 metres high, which is half the height of New York's Empire State Building 449 metres and 33 metres taller than the Calgary Tower 191 metres.

This scenery is a rendition of the Mont-JoliCYYY airport using GMAX. Information available in the latest official aeronautical publications and several pictures were used as guide in order to reproduce buildings and other custom 3D objects as accuratly as possible without sacrificing the FPS.

This scenery is fictitious. At night, the 'pigs' kerosene torches, stored by the shed during the day, will be hand lit and laid alongside the runway next to the markers. This was one way used occasionally when someone wanted to do some night flying. Those were normally used to warn of road construction hazards. The name pig is due to the fact that they were very dirty and messy to handle.

Brentwood is a new small airport in Essex in the south of England. It's located just within and next to the M25 London orbital motorway a few miles north of the Dartford Crossing, so communications and access for the huge, lucrative market in London and the South-east are excellent.

Includes the Houghton - Hancock Drawbridge, the Quincy Mine, Copper Harbor Lighthouse and Hilltop Observation Point. Shorelines, rivers and lakes now match aerial photos. FS2004 CFFE, Angel's Heights Field, British Columbia, Canada.
The scenery is entirely fictitious. Angel's Heights Field is situated on top of a mountain at 2060' asl, some 7 nm from Victoria Int'l Airport. Whichever direction you take-off from, It offers a spectacular view of the country around. It is a grass field with 1100 feet runway lit with kerosene torches at night. You need a good short field plane like the Cub.... Nice freindly simple atmosphere.

FS2004 CFFF, Old Mill's Airstrip, British Columbia, Canada.
The scenery is entirely fictitious. Old Mill's Airstrip is situated 18 nm from Victoria Int'l Airport. It is a 1400 feet grass and the runway is lit with kerosene torches at night. There is a small waterfall with an old water mill and warehouse dating back to 1916.

FS2004 Smith Mountain Lake.
Smith Mountain Lake, with its' two private seaports VA48 & 7VA7, has the most summer-time fresh-water traffic in Virginia. Another distinction besides a very popular vacation lake is American Electric Powers' hdryo-electric dam. The dam facilities recycles the water, used by the hydro generators during the day, back up-into the lake from the river and lake below. There has been several Virginia record fish caught on charter trips on the lake and it is considered to be the cleanest lake in the east. This scenery is made to blend with autogen scenery default and WV48 & 7VA7 seaports are left default so one may add their own AFCAD & AI traffic. Included is an EZ-landclass SmithMtnLake.bgl, its' EZL & RAW files source files so one may edit the area using EZ-landclass that's available as freeware download. These landclasses use default textures that spawn the default autogen objects. It does not correct mesh, as you will see and remains default in it's nature. Ever mindfull of frame-rates and staying nearest to default for multiplay.

Take a trip back to the 1979 movie with Capt.Willard, Col.Kilgore, the Chief, Chef, Clean, Lance and of course Col Kurtz in an adventure that takes you right into the invasion of the mouth of the Nung river and then launches you right up the Nung river itself. Includes tons of palm trees,fire effects and moving objects and plenty of horror. Special thanks to Lynn Rogers and Tim Conrad for permission of their aircraft and boats for this file.
