It is just over 200 miles west of Thunder Bay on the east side of Heronry Lake and just east of the large Lake Of The Woods, which straddles the Canada/US border. FS2004 Two airfields in eastern Ontario, CNU4, Belleville and CPY4, Norwood.
Belleville is at the eastern end of Lake Ontario, and on the edge of the Trenton control zone. It is a grass field with a very nice runway, and very long for a grass field at over 4,000 feet, long enough for Jim Byrd's Mooney which lives there,. There is some gravel in the centre to help with the wetter times, and which I couldn't depict here within the limitations of FS,. In the dry, when it is better to avoid the gravel and limit annoying chips in the prop, the off-centre-line grass is really smooth and well drained, mostly,. There is a flying club with a diminishing number of members, only 10 or so this year, and the flying school is now closed as the owner couldn't be bothered to cope with the increasing regulations, so there is now no fuel available. Norwood is another grass field, also at the eastern end of Lake Ontario but some 25 miles northwest of Trenton. The runway is gravel and 2,500 feet, and the airfield also doubles as a storage area for what in England are called caravans but are known in Canada as trailers. In fact there are so many of them that they are the most visible feature of the field. There is no fuel available here either.

FS2004 CYGQ, Geraldton & CNE6, Hutchinson Lake float base in northern Ontario, Canada.
Geraldton is an airfield with a 5,000 feet long asphalt runway in northern Ontario, Canada. It is 60 miles north of the northern end of Lake Superior, 40 miles east of Lake Nipigon, and close to Hutchison Lake where there is a float base. It's layout is dispersed and a little strange, with hangers that appear to turn their back on the main apron, but this is because its growth was largely unplanned and the main apron was recently extended to provide space for fire-fighting Canadair CL 415 amphibians. So it is the apron that was built behind the hangers, rather than the other way around. The AI version of the CL 415 is included here, made from the original piloted version. Using SceneryGenX build 61.
