Airport includes updated RNWY numbers and taxiway placement, pilots observing the airport, birds flying over head, two lighted base ball stadiums, and an abundance of trees placed one by one around the field! FSX Formosa X RCMT, Beigan Airport. This is a depiction of the RCMT Beigan Airport in Matzu, Republic of China. This airport is one of two airports that serve the Matzu Islands. Opened in 1994, RCMT was severely limited by a short runway and mountain obstructions to small aircraft such as Dornier 228. A new and longer runway, constructed with significant earthmoving effort in 2001, allowed the operation of larger aircraft.
