FS2002 El Toro Scenery. This scenery is a remake of my previous El Toro scenery, which was plagued by texture problems, and very high frame rates. This scenery creates a civil airport at the former El Toro Marine base, which was closed by the military when they shut down operations a few years ago. The base made it's film debut in the picture "Independence Day", and has been the subject of heated debate as to its reuse. The County proposed an airport reuse plan, since the existing John Wayne Airport is rapidly becoming obsolete in serving its needs, and a larger airport is needed in the L.A. Basin to take the pressure off of L.A.X. The airport plan recently lost by a narrow margin to a plan to convert the base into a park. The base still exists, and its future is in the air. This is my new rendition of how an airport might fit into this site, and I have reconfigured the runway layout to make it more user friendly to both the airlines, and county.

FS2002 Scenery LGIK 2002 Ikaria Greek Regional Airport. Ikaria, a Greek mountainous, thickly forested island, perpetuates the myth of Ikarus and his fall into the sea near its shores after his bold attempt to reach the sun with his waxen wings. LGIK2002 represents Ikaria's Island Airport. Several objects [like trucks, houses, stones, fences], and proper photorealistic textures have been used to make this airport as real as it gets.

FS2002 Istanbul Atatürk Airport LTBA. Istanbul Atatürk Airport LTBA is the larger of the two international airports of Istanbul and is among the busy airports of Europe. In year 2000 , LTBA had a total passengers of 7,7 million and with total number of flights of 122,437. Istanbul is my home city and my quite subjective judgement of course is that it is one very beautiful city , even more prettier seen from above.
