FS2002 Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base NKP. A model of Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base NKP. Situated in the far northeast corner of Thailand right across the Mekong River from Laos, NKP was the smallest, remotest, and most primitive of the Thai airbases utilized by the US Air Force. Many of the operations that were conducted at NKP were top-secret. NKP was the headquarters of “Task Force Alpha”, the underground command center directing “Arc Light” bombing of the Ho Chi Minh trail. The 56th Air Commando Wing employed a variety of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters for interdiction, close air support, psychological warfare, search and rescue, forward air control, and clandestine insertion and extraction of special operations personnel in Laos and North Vietnam. One of the key covert missions conducted at NKP was “Operation Igloo White”, which involved the planting and monitoring of electronic sensors along the Ho Chi Minh trail. Air America also used NKP as a base to supply the various hill tribes in Laos. This is the fourth in a series of Vietnam War era Thai airbase models. It was preceded by Ubon, Udorn, and Korat. FS2002 Gibraltar AFCAD and AI FlightPlans V1.1 for use with default scenery. The AFCAD-File is adding gates and parking postitions to the Airport. The AI Traffic connects Gibraltar Airport with EGKK, LEPA, LEMG and GMTT. Additionally there are some circuit flight.

FS2002 Kobler Field Saipan Scenery. Kobler Field was operational as the main airport for Saipan until the mid 1970’s, when the deterioration of the runway surface led to the transferring of commercial activities to the new Saipan International Airport, located on the site of the WWII Isley Field. Visible at Kobler Field in this scenery are a large numbers of hardstands and support buildings such as Quonset huts and the original NAS Kobler Tower. The scenery is based on vintage and recent aerial photos, and whilst some details have to be guessed we believe the scenery is relatively accurate to the situation today.

FS2002 St. Kitts International Airport, Island of St. Kitts, Caribbean Region...TKPK. This scenery depicts the Robert L. Bradshaw International airport on the Island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. It contains the modern new terminal, along with the distinctive green glass tower, and outer buildings. It is a small airport which is located in a valley between two mountain ranges near the southern end of the Island. This location is best run with a terrain mesh of the area, and land class scenery of the Caribbean, since FS has sadly neglected it in this respect.
