CFS Bedford QLD 3-Ton 4x4, a CFS version of a WWII ground vehicle. This API macro shows Britain's most popular 3-ton military truck, the Bedford QL 3-ton 4x4, shown here as the QLD General Service truck. Between 1941 and 1945, no less than 52,245 vehicles were built by Vauxhall in Luton, Bedfordshire, which is a subsidiary of American firm General Motors Though all-wheel-driven and hence with the natural ability to tow guns, the QL, due to his weak 72 bhp engine, lacked sufficient power when under load.

CFS Ansaldo-Fossati AB 41, CFS version of a WWII ground vehicle. The Autoblinda 41, AB 41, was an Italian armored car in use during World War II. It was armed with a 20 mm Breda 35 autocannon and a coaxial 8mm machine gun in a turret similar to the one fitted to the Fiat L6/40, and another hull mounted rear-facing 8mm machine gun.

CFS Sd.Kfz. 250. Ausf B The Sd. Kfz. 250, German: Sonderkraftfahrzeug 250; 'special motor vehicle', was a light armoured halftrack, built by the DEMAG firm, very similar in appearance to the larger Hanomag-designed Sd. Kfz. 251, in use by German forces in World War II. The Sd. Kfz 250 was adopted in 1939 to supplement the standard halftrack. Production delays meant the first 250 did not appear until mid-1941.

Its main role was as a prime mover for small towed guns such as the 2 cm FlaK 30, the 7.5 cm leIG, or the 3.7 cm PaK 36 anti-tank gun. It could carry eight troops in addition to towing a gun or trailer.
