FS2002 -
AFCAD:
What
is AFCAD?
It is a freeware CAD-style program that allows you to
modify the Airport and Facilities Data (AFD) used in
Microsoft Flight Simulator (FS2002). Facility data is
part of the scenery database for Flight Simulator but
facility data does not control any of the visual elements
of scenery, like airport buildings or ground textures.
Instead facility data controls the invisible maps of
airports and other data that ATC uses to give directions
and AI uses to move around and park at airports. It also
controls the information that you see on the ?map view?,
GPS screen, flight planner, and start position set-up
window in Flight Simulator. You can modify any of that
with AFCAD.
What is AF
Installer?
AFinstaller is a batch insatller for airport facility
files. It allows you to add downloaded third party
airports that have been made using AFCAD.
What is
Traffic Look?
Traffic Tools is a program which runs in conjunction with
AFCAD and FSUIPC. It shows you all the AI traffic
that are airbourne or on the same airport facility as you.
If you select the option to view airbourne traffic then
all traffic in a 40 nortical mile radius will be shown.
What are
Traffic Tools?
Traffic Tools is a program that allows you to edit the AI
Aircraft.txt, Flightplans.txt and airport.txt files. This
package allows you to program the AI aircraft traffic in
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 (FS2002). You can make
aircraft come-and-go from any airport on whatever
schedules you desire.
