FS2004 The Oil Rigs Scenery in Diao Yu Island DIAO YU TAI. The Kantan 3 is a semi submersible oil rig, owned by the Shanghai Offshore. It has been used extensivley in the China Sea's for oil and gas exploration. A semi-submersible is a floating platform that can be towed or self manouvered to just about any location, when in position it will "sink" part of it's hull so that just the top of the supports and main topside are still above the surface, once stable it can start drilling. Due to it's mobility, semi-subs are used primarily for exploration and test drilling. The Kantan 4 is operated by Maersk Offshore and is currently deployed in the Gulf of Mexico.

FS2004 Sikorsky RH-53D Sea Dragon, U.S. Marine Corps. Sikorsky RH-53D Sea Dragon minesweeping helicopter of the U.S. Marine Corps; utilizing the late Rory Kelly's outstanding CH/MH-53 Stallion model. A very fine effort from a master modeler, and a sad loss to the hobby, may we not forget.
