FS2004 Saipan. DBWsim’s second scenery for Flightsim2004 covers the Northern Marianas island of Saipan in its entirety, following up our First FS2004 scenery for Tinian. This scenery pack includes fully updated and improved scenery of the remnants of historical WWII airbases on the island, as well as a significantly enhanced full island landclass. There are four abandoned fields on the island, featuring flattened strips that can be used for landing. There are various detailed areas of scenery in the old WWII fields, of which Kobler field served as the main airport for Saipan until the 1970’s. It is also rumoured that Kagman and Marpi point fields were used for training purposes by the CIA. We have endeavoured in this scenery to represent Saipan in the most accurate manner possible based on what research materials are available to us. Sometimes however it is not always possible for us to get exactly detailed information, so a degree of creative interpretation has to occur. This scenery is designed so as to hopefully not interfere with any future Saipan International Airport scenery that may be produced by other designers. This scenery is optimised for FS2004, but is reverse compatible with FS2002 UNDER CEARTAIN CONDITIONS.

FS2004 Montana Air DHC3 Turbine Otter. This is a repaint, and slight reconfiguration of the excellent Eugene Hayart model for the Turbine Otter. In this package, I have included the "empty" model, with a reconfigured wieght and balance to allow for loading of passengers and cargo via the FS9 W&B utility. Also, I have added woodgrain to the panel, and changed some of the gauges. The woodgrain is reflected in the VC and spot plane modes as well.
