FS2002 2 Sqn, RAF, Tornado GR1A textures.
These textures are for a Tornado GR1A of no. 2 Sqn, RAF, and intended for the LAGO TORNADO! LAGO does not model an exact replica of the RAF Tornado but I tried to make the best of it. This GR1A is in the winter camouflage applied to it for Exercise Strong Resolve '95. Read the readme file carefully before installing. Repaint by Dag Roger Stangeland.

FS2002 78FS, 20FW, USAF, F21A Tornado textures.
Obviously this is a fictictious repaint but the story behind it is based on fact. Back in the 1980s the Tornado was in the running for the USAFs follow on Wild Weasel platform to replace the F4G Phantom. In the end the USAF modified a number of F16C/D Vipers to do the job but as it happens the Air Force was indeed interested in the programme, unfortunately the politicians were not.

Located 70 km west of Buenos Aires city, this aerodrome has 2000x30 m airstripe and facilities for general aviation as well as for experimental and ultralight planes. In fact, it hosts the Argentine branch of the Experimental Aircraft Association EAA.
