CFS3 US Air Force P-47. This P-47-25 has an unusual 3 letter code most were two. The Thunderbolts of the 79th FG out of Fano, Italy in 1945 retained the X-plus numbers system it first used on P-40's in North Aftrica. This P-47 was in service with the 86th FS. FS98 Vickers Vimy 1919 AP. The Vimy was the first non-stop air crossing of the Atlantic in 1919.
