FS2002 Messerschmitt Me-329. The Me329 was originally designed in 1942 but never came into production. Only a wood mockup was ever built and the Me329 was not pursued due to development time. Plus the Me410 was proving to be a much more hopefull design. The Me329 would have had a 2 man crew. The craft would have been armed with four MG 151/20 20mm cannons mounted in the nose and two MK 103 30mm cannons in the wing roots. The rear cannon was operated by the second crew member via a periscope system. The Me329 intended role would have been a heavy fighter/bomber and would have been capable of carrying 2400Kg of bombs. This version of the Me329 is a single seat Aero Racer done in imaginary colours, equiped with a smoke display system, and modern cockpit instruments. |
