Hanging a big American engine on the front of a relatively small airframe like the Yak-11, a former Soviet Yak-11 trainer, makes this diminutive Russian trainer go very fast indeed. At the 2003 National Championship Air Races Sherman Smoot clocked 445.617 MPH in the Gold Final Race.

Non-guided weapon can be hit in high accuracy, and on the other hand, the point attack with precision-guided bomb, PGM, is also possible. According to a powerful all-in-one design defense system and a superior air-to-air performance, the ability can be demonstrated by being in not going in the hostility air area. The worst weakness is that the price is high. Six kinds of models, Clean / with pylon / with weapons / with CFT and pylon / with CFT and weapons / Full Equipment, are included.

FS2004/FSX Yak-9U Fighter.
The Yak-9U was the second generation of Yak-9s. It introduced a redesigned airframe , a new wing of increased span and area, and the more powerful VK-107 engine with 1,230 kW, 1,650 hp. The top speed of 700 km/h, 435 mph, at 5,600 m, 18,370 ft, was faster than any production fighter aircraft in the world at that time. The Yak-9UV and Yak-9P were postwar versions. They took part in the Korean War.Production of the Yak-9 ended in 1946 after a record 16,769 aircraft had been delivered.
