FS2004 Avro Canada CF-100 Canuck, RCAF, Squadron 445. The CF-100 was the first combat aircraft of all-Canadian design and the prototype first flew in 1950. The requirement was for a long range, fast climb all-weather interceptor which could operate from small arctic strips and the 'Clunk' was very successful. Powered by Canadian Orenda engines, the CF-100 broke several endurance records. It also served for much longer than expected, mainly due to the cancellation of the ill-fated CF-105 Arrow project.
