Airline Codes

There are two kinds of airline codes: IATA (two character) and ICAO (three character). Two-character codes are used mostly on timetables, flight information screens, baggage tags and some ATC scopes, while three-character codes are used on some flight information screens, most ATC scopes, flight plans and other professional aviation publications.
