Douglas DC-8-61 Val-U-Prop Plane and Panel.
Val-U-Prop Virtual Airline enters the jet age with its
new (25 year-old) DC-8-61 "Stretch Eight." This
long-range beauty uses textures instead of bitmaps for
fabulous FPS. Photographic panel taken by Leif Giesecke
and sharply detailed wing view photos by Art Brett. Cabin
photo by Stephanie Pleshinger. Panel uses all old-fashioned
gauges, in keeping with the period: No auto-throttles; no
AP pre-sets - in short, you actually have to -gasp!- FLY
this bird. And it flies beautifully (keep the power up on
short final!). File includes .mdl repair kit for win2000
and Xp, XP Pro users by Dave Parsons. From an original DC8-73
by Dee Waldron converted to a DC8-61 by Tony Madge and
repainted by James Underwood. Gauges by James Underwood,
Ernie Kennedy and Technic Direct.
