Hanford Airlines introduced the Electra on its routes in the upoper midwest of the United States in 1936. Hanford was founded in 1928 as Hanford's Tri-State Airlines and changed its name to Mid-Continent Airlines in 1938. MCA was merged into Braniff in 1952.
